DBS Bank, an Asia-based financial services group and worldwide financial services provider Visa have launched Visa Personal Payments (VPP). The service allows DBS customers to send money from their bank accounts to Visa cardholders around the world.
“With this service, we are offering customers a simple, affordable and convenient solution to cater to their cross-border funds transfer needs,” Anthony Seow, head of cards and unsecured loans at DBS, said in a release.
DBS/POSB customers can send money to holders of Visa debit, credit and prepaid cards by providing the recipient’s name and their 16-digit Visa card number.
