eBay announced yesterday that it has hired RJ Pittman, formerly the designer, manager and developer of Apple’s eCommerce platform, according to AllThingsD.
The company hired Pittman as the chief product officer of eBay Marketplaces, a new role.
“I think it’s pretty clear today eBay dominates the marketplace category,” Pittman told AllThingsD. “I’m excited to come in and reinvent the way people buy and sell.”
