Google Glass QR Code-Based Hijacks Thwarted

A security flaw that would have enabled third parties to hijack Google Glass units through the use of QR codes was corrected on June 4, All Things D reported on July 17.

    Google Glass had allowed users to connect to Wi-Fi by taking a picture of a QR code. Because of this functionality, Lookout Security uncovered that it would have been possible for someone to exploit this flaw to remotely control the device.
