    According to GigaOM, the “Customer Experience Digital Data Acquisition” standard will include specifications on price, currency, voucher discounts, payments information and shipping information. User information such as address and username are included as well.

    “The idea here is to simplify the exchange of data between web services that deal in product and customer information (think tracking) and theoretically cut down on site technology vendor lock-in,” GigaOM writes.
