Chicago-based daily deals leader Groupon has updated its iPhone app to version 2.8, a company spokesperson told PYMNTS.com.
The update provides customers with an easier way to keep track of their billing information by scanning their credit card, instantly adding information to their account.
Since its 2008 start, Groupon has become increasingly driven by mobile transactions. More than 50 million people have downloaded the company’s app, named one of the 25 most downloaded free apps in the U.S.
