Russian MTS Bank Signs Contract With Tieto For mPayment Services
Tieto, a Nordic IT service company, has announced they have entered a contract with Russian MTS Bank to enable its Card Suite software, reports Telecompaper. The software will allow the bank to roll out mPayment services that include mobile top-ups, bill payments and remote purchases using a mobile phone. MTS Bank customers will be able to access these services at any time. The Card Suite system authorizes card transactions and messages based on information received from telecommunication operators. The platform supports transactions from international payment cards, Visa International and MasterCard worldwide.
