Sainsburys To Launch Mobile Network Linked To Nectar Card

UK grocer giant, Sainsburys, announced plans to launch a UK mobile service sometime this summer, reported The Next Web. The new service is called, “Mobile By Sainsburys,” and customers will be on the Vodafone network. Users will make payments to Sainburys, and the service will allow customers to earn loyalty points on their Nectar card reward accounts.

Luke Jensen, Sainsbury’s group development director said, ”We’re extremely pleased to be working with Vodafone and look forward to developing a range of mobile products and services that will take the stress out of purchasing decisions in a familiar environment, offering what’s right for them whatever their needs may be.”
