    “Blocking Rich Cordray is about keeping the game rigged, keeping the game rigged so that consumers remain in the dark- and a few bad actors can rake in big profits,” Warren said. “Blocking Rich Cordray is about weakening the agency.”

    Cordray’s nomination is still up for vote in the Senate, but 43 of 45 Republicans are blocking his confirmation as protest, demanding that the CFPB’s current structure change.
