Oakland-based eCommerce platform ShopPad, which specializes in optimizing conventional websites for tablets, announced $500,000 in new seed funding on August 28, TechCruch reported.
Contributors to the round included Mashery co-founder Scott Rafer, Fab board member Allen Morgan and Arik Keller, director of product at PayPal.
