SMB Optimism Hits Post-Recession High

Recent polls issued by The Wall Street Journal and Vistage and Wells Fargo and Gallop have revealed that small business confidence reached its highest level since the recession in August, The Wall Street Journal reported on August 28.

The Journal and Vistage’s Small Business CEO confidence index hit 104.2 in August, up from the 93.7 observed in August 2012. Wells Fargo and Gallup’s small business optimism index grew to its highest total since the third quarter of 2008.
