SumUp Adds American Express Support For Eight Of Its 10 European Markets

Mobile payments startup SumUp can now accept American Express payments at eight of its 10 European markets, according to TechCrunch.

Germany, France, the U.K., Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and Austria are the eight countries where AmEx will be accepted, while Belgium and Portugal will look to add integration in the future. The company said its flat 2.75 percent transaction fee will remain the same when an AmEx card is processed.
