UK Startup Raises $1.2 Million To Launch New Mobile Payments

Yoyo, a UK-based mobile payments service provider, announced it has raised $1.2 million to help the company build and launch a new mobile payment technology as well as a loyalty program, reported TechCrunch. Yoyo aims to offer consumers a more efficient and simply way to pay for goods and services by using a mobile application. The app also integrates the company’s loyalty program, which allows users to automatically collect points on the platform.

Yoyo helps merchants to collect consumer data based on purchase history and other information provided at the point of sale.
