Western Union, Commercial Bank of Dubai Roll Out Prepaid Payroll Card
Global payment services giant, Western Union, has joined the Commercial Bank of Dubai (CBD) in order to roll out a co-branded prepaid payroll card for consumers in the U.A.E. The new payroll card is set to launch by this summer, and will follow the launch of the government-installed Wages Protection System (WPS). The WPS demands that individuals working in the U.A.E. must be paid payroll electronically into a bank account or a prepaid card.
