Payment processor WorldPay has announced that merchants now have a new way to save on transactions made across borders with its Bankout service.
Providing access to more than 300 domestic accounts through a single connection, merchants need only submit the details and WorldPay transfers the funds, a move that it says can reduce costs for businesses by as much as 85 percent.
“WorldPay provides merchants with improved visibility of the total cost of the transaction processed and enables the transaction to be processed the same day or the next working day,” Phillip McGriskin, the company’s chief product officer, said in a release. “It not only improves merchants’ global customer reach but it significantly minimizes the business cost of international payments.”
