Last year digital-payment revenue in sub-Saharan Africa have been on the rise and may spike in the future.

A recent study by McKinsey and Gates Foundation predicts that “Electronic-payments revenue in sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) could reach up to $16 billion annually in the next few years if the growth of mobile payments in Kenya is repeated across the continent,” predicts to a recent study by McKinsey and the Gates Foundation.

Companies like M-Pesa could increase consumer confidence in the region to encourage further developmetns.
