InComm Enters European Prepaid Market

InComm, an Atlanta based prepaid product company, has partnered with European electronics retailer Media-Saturn GmbH to roll out a variety of gift card brands at more than 400 Media Markt and Media Saturn locations in Germany.

After the first roll out phase, the company plans on reaching out to the market in Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain and Russia, according to a company press release.

The collaboration with Media-Saturn Group, which operates as Media Markt, and Saturn and Redcoon in 17 European countries, would help Incomm expand its wings and reach out to a niche gaming market.

“With their iconic brands, loyal customer base and extensive retail network, Media-Saturn will certainly be a key prepaid destination throughout Europe and abroad,” said Executive Vice President Frank Monaco of International, InComm.

The Media Markt and Saturn in Germany currently offer pre-paid gift cards for popular games like Runescape, Nexon and League of Legends, and would soon offer a wider variety of gift cards.

“These retail stores are popular consumer shopping destinations, and we hope distributing our prepaid gaming cards through these channels will add greater convenience to our users,” said Donghyuk Kim from Nexon. “In addition, we’ve chosen to feature two popular games, Combat Arms and Vindictus, as the artwork on our cards, which we believe will appeal to game-playing consumers.”
