There are reports saying that Apple wants to add a feature to the iPhone 6 that will allow users to make mobile payments.
According to reports, Apple has been corresponding with candidates for the development of an iTunes system supporting mobile payment business.
"You can tell by looking at the demographics of our customers, and the amount of commerce that goes through iOS devices versus the competition, that it's a big opportunity on the platform a big opportunity on the platform," Tim Cook explained during an earnings call. “The mobile payments area in general is one we've been intrigued with.”
Apple has not released any details about the new phone, but some believe that an announcement may be made around September.
