USAT’s Cashless Payment Service Registers 250,000 Connections

ePort Connect, a cashless payment and M2M telemetry service by USA Technologies, Inc., crossed over 250,000 connections during its fourth fiscal quarter, which ends June 30, 2014, according to a USAT press release.

“In the last three years, we have doubled the number of
connections to our ePort Connect service by ardently working with our
growing customer base,” said USAT CEO Stephen P. Herbert.

The service has come halfway through realizing its goal of 500,000 connections and $100 million in revenue, he added.

The PCI compliant service, which is tailored for the self-serve retail industry, has added new features for reaching out to micro markets like laundry, kiosk and taxi.

The ePort Connect service provides wireless and merchant account setup, simplified processing rates, settlement and reconciliation, 24x
7 customer service and value-added services like mobile
payment, loyalty programs and integrated payment services for
micro-markets and other POS devices.
