    Mary Carol Harris has left her position as Visa Europe’s director of mobile to work for Apple, according to reports that first surfaced in the NFC Times.

    Harris’s LinkedIn profile now indicates that she  is now working for Apple Europe. She’s not the only ex-pat fromVisa signing on with Apple  Visa Europe’s executive director for digital development Duncan Olby.

    Apple Pay in European may face some difficulties that it simply failed to face on its own soil; continental banks have expressed interest in Apple Pay but according to the NFC Times report, are not nearly as excited as their American counterparts to surrender any of their transaction fees to Apple.
