Xero Partnership Lends Data To Wholesalers

In B2B sales, automation is becoming an increasingly crucial aspect of the business process, allowing wholesalers to avoid wasting time on painstaking order processing or inventory management. Pepperi is one company that offers automated sales services, and according to the firm, its latest tie-up will streamline and automate wholesalers’ processes even further.

Pepperi will combine its B2B mobile sales services for wholesalers with Australia-based Xero’s digital accounting services, according to an announcement made Monday (May 4). In a new partnership, Pepperi will integrate Xero’s accounting software into Pepperi’s cloud-based sales solution, a deal Pepperi said will enable wholesalers to boost their sales by 20 percent or more. The partnership will also cut wholesalers’ and brands’ order processing costs by up to 30 percent.

According to Xero’s Managing Director Chris Ridd, the partnership will “undoubtedly result in added business value for our customers.”

“Xero’s ability to make small businesses better by saving time on back-office processes, joined by Pepperi’s fully automated sales apps, is a clear-cut formula for increased revenue and efficiency,” Ridd said in a statement.

Xero’s accounting suite will integrate into Pepperi’s mobile, tablet-compatable application, an all-in-one solution that facilitates order taking, sales management, CRM and more. The tool will also become emboldened with Xero’s added customer, product and inventory data – all orders taken by wholesalers will automatically updated with Xero’s statistics.

According to Pepperi Vice President of Marketing Oren Ezra, several conglomerates are already taking advantage of the partnership. “Joint customers such as Spirit Publishing and Foodlynx are already realizing the business value of our integrated solution,” he said.

Adding Xero’s accounting data capabilities to Pepperi’s sales tool isn’t the latest push of data for the Australian firm. Xero revealed late last month that it is planning a range of new upgrades that allow business users to more easily access and analyze their data on an easy-to-use interface.
