Spend Management Provider Proactis Embraces Aurachain

Spend management provider Proactis will use Aurachain’s low-code platform to speed up delivery of new or updated client offerings, according to a press release.

“The Aurachain platform represents a new and exciting set of possibilities for Proactis as we look to expand and enhance our market-leading portfolio of international spend management solutions,” said Proactis Product Director Paul Massey in the release. “The speed at which we can roll out new client services while managing future change cycles will translate to increased agility and certainly enhanced value for our customers.”

Low-code platforms let developers or individuals with limited technical skills develop applications without having to write many instructions in traditional computer languages. Low-code platforms typically let users develop processes by dragging and dropping images.

Some proponents of low-code systems have said systems that enable the approach have grown in popularity during the pandemic because companies needed to update applications or other customer-facing programs but lacked sufficient numbers of developers to do all the work using traditional coding methods.

By using the Aurachain platform, Proactis will be able to provide a “stunning new user experience thanks to Aurachain’s delivery of consistent and optimized interfaces, with mobility built in to every service created on the platform,” the release stated.

Aurachain Chief Revenue Officer Jonathan Wiener said in the release that the new deal presents a “tremendous opportunity to extend the value of the Aurachain platform across Proactis current and future clients worldwide.”

According to Proactis’ marketing materials, the company has 500 employees and more than 1,100 enterprise customers with more than 3 million users.

Proactis is based in England, and lists offices in the United Kingdom, the United States, France, Germany, the Netherlands, New Zealand and the Philippines.

Aurachain is based in London and has offices in Dubai, Romania and Switzerland, according to its website.
