Designed for manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers and service providers, the marketplace gives businesses “a centralized platform to connect with other organizations/businesses and conduct trade, creating a streamlined transaction process,” according to the release.

The marketplace also offers tools for sellers who offer logo design and custom packaging. Services are typically sold as an add-on with bulk products but can be sold separately, the release stated. YoKart has also introduced a verification tag, founding member tag, and Gold subscription tag for the sellers. These tags can be verified and enabled on the front end.

“Over the years, we have successfully managed to develop and deliver custom B2B marketplaces to meet our clients’ needs,” a company spokesperson said in the release. “UNI Diamonds, Bozinga are such custom B2B eCommerce marketplaces built using YoKart.”

“As the demand grew over the last few years, we felt the need to develop a turnkey B2B multi-vendor software that provided businesses standard B2B ecommerce features/functionalities, while reducing their go-to-market time,” the spokesperson added in the release. “YoKart B2B is a product of our months of planning, development work, rigorous testing and internal feedback sessions to build a reliable B2B solution with most bases covered.”

The company said L&T-SuFin will use digital tools to help microbusinesses and small- to medium-sized businesses (SMBs) across India source their industrial supplies.

The L&T-SuFin platform is “poised to transform the Indian business landscape, leading to the formalization of the traditional supply chains and creating a win-win situation for suppliers and buyers,” and comes in the wake of L&T’s launch of EdTech platform L&T EduTech in 2021.
