Vantiv Named 2016 CNP Awards Finalist

Vantiv and three nominations

Payment processing firm Vantiv said on Monday (May 16) that it has been named as a finalist across three categories in the 2016 Card Not Present Awards.

The firm is up for awards in the following categories: Best Processor, Best Payment Service Provider and Best eCommerce Platform/Gateway. The awards ceremony itself will be held in Orlando, Florida, on May 23.

The firm noted that the processor award is tied to companies that respond most effectively to those needs specific to online businesses. The Vantiv eProtect product was singled out as a complete eCommerce data security solution for merchants. The platform keeps cardholder data off of checkout or other accessible locations.

Vantiv Fraud Toolkit is the technology under consideration for the eCommerce Platform/Gateway category, as the category is governed by the process of connecting consumers with merchants and merchants with acquirers and other parties that are stakeholders in transactions.

Merchant services companies offering this segment the best processing solutions are nominated under the payment service provider umbrella, with Vantiv’s Recovery Account Updating and Intelligent Authorization Recycling platform having been placed in contention for the category.

In a statement that accompanied the release of news of the nominations, Greg Worch, senior vice president of eCommerce sales at the company, stated: “We’ve designed our eCommerce product family to provide exceptional value to our customers — beyond helping them simply process payments — by also offering add-on capabilities, including fraud protection, security, data analytics and reporting, revenue growth and customer retention. We’re honored to be named finalists in these three categories as it demonstrates our commitment to providing a seamless eCommerce payments experience.”
