iYap Launches Liquid Cash Digital Payment System

IYap, the digital payments company, has rolled out Liquid Cash, a digital payment system that lets users pay and send money to anyone around the world using Liquid Cash codes.

The service, which is aiming to be a fast, secure and confidential digital payment system, requires no debit card, credit card, bank account, phone number or email address, upping the security level associated with it.

“The complex yet simple Liquid Cash app was designed to do something for the users and merchants and not to them,” said Tony Kittrell, iYap’s chief development officer, said in a press release. “Our direct in-app marketing with Liquid Deals, rewards and hyperlocal geo ads helps merchants stay connected to their audience, while giving the consumer great deals and special offers. The result is a disruptive digital payment solution that offers user-friendly global payment options for consumers, business professionals and merchants.”

IYap said Liquid Cash was built with an idea to improve how customers shop, send and manage international money services and expand merchant acceptance of digital payments. IYap said that, in addition to the launch of Liquid Cash, the company will deploy a complete suite of money services, including an iYap Mastercard, Visa card, a mobile wallet and a loyalty program.

Some of the services customers get with Liquid Cash are confidential payments, fraud prevention, the ability to instantly transfer money in-app or via SMS, email, WhatsApp and social media and savings on fees. The company said using the service will help people avoid unnecessary bank fees and transfer money fees. Liquid Cash will also include geo-targeted deals from merchants, as well as the ability to pay with the app or credit and debit card.

“The Liquid Cash app was designed to eliminate … hurdles and enhance the way people shop, pay, receive and send money worldwide,” said Alvin Merrifield, founder of iYap. “We are redefining the digital payment landscape with the only multichannel, hybrid financial app, with unique features, like integrated global merchant processing that offers zero chargeback, P2P international money transfers, cross-border bill payments and liquid reward deal promotions.”
