Slack is expanding its global consulting partner ecosystem to include industry-specific consultants who will help companies in their digital transformations.
With newly available services and solutions, Slack customers can engage consulting partners of Slack and parent company Salesforce who focus on financial services, manufacturing, communications, retail, media, technology and other industries, according to a Thursday (Sept. 15) press release.
The services from these partners will supplement Slack customers’ use of Slack and Salesforce’s Customer 360 to help these customers improve their productivity, connection, collaboration and automation, per the release.
“The world’s largest and most influential consultancies have recognized that every customer needs a digital HQ,” Slack Vice President of Global Alliances and Channels Richard Hasslacher said in the release. “Slack and Salesforce are a key enabler to make that happen. Having these partners engaged and primed to deliver these industry solutions is a big step in our ability to bring the digital HQ to market.”
These consulting partners offer companies advisory, strategy, organizational transformation and change management services, together with strategic guidance on implementing a digital platform to solve challenges unique to their industry, per the release.
Salesforce Executive Vice President of Worldwide Alliances and Channels Tyler Prince said in the release that “our consulting partners are providing industry solutions — built in Slack — with features customized to unique business needs. This is helping customers get the most out of their Slack and Salesforce technology.”
The announcement comes about four months after Salesforce announced that it had agreed to buy Troops.ai, which provides a revenue communications solution that works with sales velocity, forecasting, visibility and collaboration.
Troop.ai will be incorporated into Slack, and this combination will bring together the information and actions that customer-facing teams need to use to support customers and complete sales, Salesforce said at the time.
