Etsy iPhone App Downloaded One Million Times

Etsy’s iPhone app has been downloaded one million times, the crafty e-commerce site said in an official blog post — less than four months after its debut in the App Store.

    The app’s popularity has led to increased site visits, the company says. “With 25-60% growth in visits month-over-month since its release, and an average of 30 pageviews per visit, Etsy for iPhone has developed into quite the social butterfly,” editor Michelle Traub writes.

    Traub’s signoff suggests Etsy is preparing to release an app for the Android Store as well in the near future. “Psst… To all the Android developers out there, we’re hiring!” she writes.
