The European Commission has approved the creation of a joint venture between the U.K.’s three largest mobile networks to launch NFC services.
Vodafone, Everything Everywhere and Telefonica are the three telcos forming the joint venture, first planned in 2011 under the code name “Project Oscar,” reports NFC World.
