As XP Support Ends, New POS and ATM Windows Open
It’s not exactly a news flash that Windows XP support will vanish in April of this year, leaving ATM and POS terminal owners to decide what to do next. What’s newsworthy though is how little has been done on the ATM side of the house, at least up ’til now. The same can’t be said for merchants who are using this as a great excuse to kick the tires on new alternative card-acceptance options. PYMNTS’ own Jeff Green gives you his take on what’s in store.
