Google Wallet Now Does Auto Reloads

Google has updated is mobile wallet to allow users to add automatic bank transfers into the digital accounts.

The company made the initial announcement via blog post. The company also confirmed that there will not be fees or minimum balance requirements in order to set up the automatic transfer. Google also touted the “Fraud Protection Guarantee” which will cover any fraudulent transactions that occur. Users will also be able to set up low balance alerts.

This is forecasted to be one of many improvements Google rolls out as it attempts to compete with Apple Pay – the already more popular iOS based mobile payments alternative.  Google’s “real world” payments service is also NFC based and will work on any Android phone newer than KitKat.
