Coach Unveils Mobile-Enhanced Retail Concept

Coach is aiming to capture demand for mobile shopping experiences with a revamped retail concept, Women’s Wear Daily reported on November 22.

One aspect of the redesign is that, in lieu of traditional cash register, Coach staff will use iPad minis to conduct transactions and help customers browse online catalogs.

“People are shopping a lot more online – that’s real,” Francine Della Badia, president of North American retail for Coach Inc., told Women’s Wear Daily in an interview. “So when they come to the store, they want the experience.”
