Wells Fargo and American Express Launch Two EMV Reward Cards

The new reward cards will have an EMV chip to attract consumers who travel and make international purchases.

Wells Fargo & Company and American Express are joining forces to create two new credit cards. The new cards would offer rich rewards and competitive offer, according to the press release.

The new Propel 365 and Propel World credit cards will be issued by Wells Fargo and can be used anywhere American Express is accepted. The credit cards will also provide an EMV chip to protect cardholders as they spend globally.

According to Wells Fargo, the new credit cards will offer upgraded travel experiences, accelerated rewards on travel and every day purchases and bonuses.

“Allowing Propel cardholders to enjoy the numerous advantages associated with the American Express brand together with the outstanding rewards and services offered by Wells Fargo,” William Stredwick, senior vice president, Global Network Partnerships, North America, American Express said.
