Unlike a thrilling new series on whatever subscription service is launching this week, the updated Provider Ranking of Streaming Apps is a bit on the dull side. No drama and not much action. Sounds like a pitch for an awful TV show. So, to cut the boredom, there’s one big change to the latest ranking, it’s at the very top, and that makes it a pretty big deal.
Disney+ grabs the No. 1 spot this time out, pushing Netflix to No. 2. Their rivalry may make a great documentary one day. Or it could end up on YouTube, solid at No. 3, as is Amazon Prime Video at No. 4 and that podcasting, music-streaming wonder Spotify in the No. 5 spot.

Continuing along, Pluto TV orbits at No. 6, with Hulu holding its own at No. 7.
Tuneful at No. 8 is Amazon Music, soon to be found in Tesla autos among other streaming brands taking to the highway. Meanwhile, the super-happy sound Funimation app is dubbing for fun at No. 9, as live streaming gameplay app Twitch, owned by Amazon, retains the No. 10 spot.
