No room at the inn? Nonsense. Just look at the new tie at No. 1 between Booking.com and Vrbo, the latter of which gained a spot to make it to the top.
That tie begets cascading changes down through this new Provider Ranking of Travel Apps, as almost everyone gains a spot virtually by default. Even so, the rank is the rank. Check it.

At No. 2 this month is Airbnb and its new Visa Direct pact, followed at No. 3 by the Hopper app.
That brings venerable Hotels.com to No. 4, and Skyscanner to No. 5, wrapping the top five.

At No. 6, it’s popular TripAdvisor and its new subscription offering. Paddling upriver to gain a spot is the KAYAK app at No. 7, with HotelTonight up one spot and settled in at No. 7 (for now).
