Android Wear 2.0 Doesn’t Work With Citi, Wells Fargo Cards

Android Wear 2.0 is getting a lot of buzz thanks to the fact that users can pay via Android Pay, but it turns out some of the credit cards that work with Android Pay won’t work on the Android Wear watches.

    According to a report, the two banks credit cards that won’t work include Citibank and Wells Fargo. In the case of Citi, the credit cards that don’t work with Android Wear 2.0 include Citi Visa Credit, Citi Mastercard Debit and Credit, Hilton Visa Credit, Expedia Mastercard and Visa Credit, Costco AnyWhere Consumer and AT&T Mastercard. In the case of Wells Fargo, the cards include Consumer Debit Visa, Consumer Credit Visa and American Express and Small Business Credit and Debit Visa. The report noted an Android Pay help page says: “At this time, these cards aren’t supported on Android Wear.” The report noted that it’s not clear why it doesn’t work for those two banks.
