Now in its 6th year, the CTIA Emerging Technology (E-Tech) Awards program has celebrated and promoted the most innovative wireless products and services in the consumer, enterprise, application and network technology segments.
Last year over 300 nominations were received and reviewed by a panel of recognized members of the media, industry analysts and executives . Products are judged on innovation, functionality, technological importance/impact, implementation and overall “wow” factor.
In addition to the 14 award categories, the industry also has a chance to vote for their favorite entries online and via text during the International CTIA WIRELESS® 2011 event. The online votes will determine the winner of the “Best Online Pick” award and text votes will determine the winner of “Best in Show!”
The E-Tech Awards Program also provides all entrants the unique opportunity to gain incredible exposure through participation in the E-Tech Showcase at the International CTIA WIRELESS® 2011 event. All product entries are prominently displayed in a showcase viewed by thousands of attendees and media.
The program culminates in a widely attended Awards Ceremony, traditionally hosted by a prominent member of the media, and held on the exhibit floor, where the Winners will be announced and recognized.
