PYMNTS reported Oct. 20 that PNC’s third-quarter results showed that the bank reported that average commercial loans increased $10.4 billion from the previous quarter and $42.4 billion from a year earlier. The bank attributed the increases to strong new production and higher utilization, with the year-over-year comparison also reflecting FirstBank loans acquired in March.
According to ADP’s Wednesday press release about its partnership with PNC, ADP supports 1.1 million clients across more than 140 countries. Matt Farwell, president of small business services at ADP, said in the release that this combination provides small business owners with an alternative to navigating disconnected systems.
“Small businesses want technology that works together seamlessly,” Farwell said. “This collaboration brings together two of the systems small businesses rely on most: banking and payroll.”
