Barclaycard Issues Contactless Payment Wristbands for Music Series

Barclays is issuing contactless payment-enabled wristbands at this year’s Wireless Music Festival in London, Finextra reports.

    Concertgoers can use their Visa or MasterCard payment products to put money on the wristband either before or at the event, the report says. The Barclaycard PayBands will only work during the event, and unused funds will be transferred back to consumer accounts at the event’s close.
