    Vodafone, O2, and Everything Everywhere are the companies behind the new mobile wallet platform, code named “Project Oscar.” Concerns from rival companies like Google and PayPal expressed earlier this year had the potential to slow the project down, but the Financial Times now reports that the telcos are “encouraged” by initial feedback from the European Commission.
