CitizyFid Combines Payments And Loyalty Cards

The loyalty market is big in France with French consumers holding in average 9 loyalty cards. As such, Orange France decided to choose Adelya to develop a mobile loyalty wallet – CityziFid. The wallet will be available in all Cityzi phones and will group the customers’ loyalty cards. Cityzi already has two loyalty wallets associated with it – Loyalty Avenue and FidBool – but these are restricted to the cities of Nice and Strasbourg and to very few retailers. The development of CityziFid would allow for a loyalty mobile wallet to be used everywhere in France.

    In the US Apple’s Passbook was an instant success with 20,000 users joining in one day after the application was associated with and promoted by beauty giant Sephora. With the number of cards held by French consumers averaging nine, this could be an equally successful venture for CityziFid.
