mPowa, a U.K.-based Square-like company that provides merchants with a dongle that processes card payments, has signed of a 7-year, multi-million dollar deal with Portugal Telecom, reports TechCrunch.
Portugal Telecom services around 100 million people throughout Europe, Latin America and Africa. mPowa CEO Dan Wagner said that his company will net target the African, Asian, European and South American markets before entering North America.
