Yahoo! Shuts Down Deals Platform Amidst App Trimming

Yahoo! has announced that it will shut down several of its products in the coming weeks, including its Deals platform, the company announced in a release on Friday.

    Yahoo! will shut down its Deals, Upcoming, SMS Alerts, Kids and J2ME products on April 30, 2013. Older versions of Yahoo! Mail will follow suit on June 3, 2013.
