Former Groupon CEO Andrew Mason broke the silence regarding his future on a personal blog post yesterday, teasing a new startup he’ll found on the west coast later this year.
Mason announced that he and his wife are moving to San Francisco to start a new company this fall, although he declined to offer details. Until then, Mason said he’ll spend a day every week at Y-Combinator in an attempt to “keep [his] brain from atrophying.”

The post was largely light-hearted, also referencing weight loss and reading and teasing a new seven-song album filled with “motivational business music.” Mason was fired from Groupon on February 27.
