Report: T-Mobile Blocking Google Wallet For Isis Support

T-Mobile may block Google Wallet on the Galaxy Note II and other devices as it continues to support Isis’ mobile wallet platform, according to an Android Community report.

    Android Community highlights a recent conversation between a user and the T-Mobile help account on Twitter. Someone asked the carrier if there was a timeline for when Google Wallet would be available for the Galaxy Note II, and T-Mobile replied with, “We’re supporting ISIS, the wireless payment standard for mobile devices.”

    The report notes that Verizon has taken a similar approach to Google Wallet. Isis is still only available in Salt Lake City, Utah, and Austin Texas.
