Zapp Hires Former Barclays Chief To Develop Pingit P2P Payments

Zapp, a UK-based mobile commerce company, announced its senior management team which includes former head of technology development at Barclays Ian Sayers. Sayers will be the new chief technology officer at Zapp, announced Finextra.

    Sayers is set to join Zapp by October of this year, after serving 12 years at Barclays. Sayers will oversee the development of Pingit, the mobile P2P service that enables customers to use handsets to scan advert QR codes to make purchases.
