WorldPay’s eCommerce Division Grows 45 Percent

The eCommerce division of global payments processer WorldPay announced its volume transactions have grown 45 percent since 2012. There were over 257 million gateway transactions processed in the first half of 2013, which made for a rate of 320 transactions every second.

    WorldPay reported that alternative payment transactions accounted for most of its growth, which increased 46 percent in the first half of 2013 from 2012.
