iZettle POS Makes Brazilian Debut

    IZettle’s card reader will be sold for R$99, but will be free for any merchant or individual who signs up before September 30.

    “The launch of a solution which offers secure and flexible mobile transactions with cards is something new in the country and will allow thousands of small entrepreneurs to have access to a service previously reserved to larger businesses,” Cassius Schymura, payments services director at iZettle’s partner Banco Santander, said in an August 27 statement.
