EBay had its most successful Thanksgiving weekend ever in terms of mobile shopping traffic, as the company announced that shopping rates via mobile channels doubled compared to 2012, USA Today eported on December 5.
At the same time, PayPal announced that it recorded its biggest day in terms of mobile payments on Cyber Monday. PayPal’s total payment volume on Thanksgiving Day rose by 115 percent year-over-year.
