Klarna will roll out its new membership plans over the coming weeks in 11 European countries and then extend them to other regions. The initial rollout includes Denmark, Germany, Austria, Italy, France, Spain, Belgium, the United Kingdom, Norway, Sweden and Finland, according to the release.
The new membership plan lineup includes four tiers: Klarna Everywhere at 4.99 euros (about $5.76) per month, Klarna Plus at 9.99 euros ($11.52) per month, Klarna Premium at 19.99 euros ($23.06) per month and Klarna Max at 44.99 euros ($51.90) per month, per the release.
Highlighting key features of the plans, Klarna said Klarna Everywhere allows the use of Klarna anywhere Visa is accepted, without service fees; Klarna Plus adds cash back on all purchases and purchase protection; Klarna Premium adds as many as 12 digital subscriptions, travel benefits, a metal card and access to a dedicated support team; and Klarna Max adds as many as 23 digital subscriptions and additional travel benefits.
In addition, the higher the tier, the greater the cash-back rewards, perks and protections, according to the release.
“People want more from their money, without the barriers,” Klarna CEO and Co-Founder Sebastian Siemiatkowski said in the release. “Choose the tier that fits your life and change it whenever life changes — the value is always yours. That’s money working for you, not the other way around, and it’s the everyday money network that we’re building.”
When Klarna unveiled its global subscription membership program in October 2025, the program had two tiers offering cash back, travel perks, lifestyle rewards and other premium benefits.
Klarna said at the time in a press release: “The launch marks a major step in Klarna’s evolution into a full-scale digital bank helping customers manage their money with greater value and control.”
Nearly two years earlier, in January 2024, Klarna launched a subscription service called Klarna Plus in the United States, saying the service let U.S. customers avoid service fees, earn rewards points and get discounts from brands.
