Diane Offereins, Discover’s executive vice president of payment services, has been named one of the 25 most powerful women in finance, per American Banker.
Offereins, who ranked at No. 6 on the list, has served in a variety of capacities for Discover since 1998. She has recently been involved with Discover’s partnerships with PayPal, Facebook and Ariba, and American Banker notes that Discover now has 98 percent of the reach of MasterCard and Visa.
Offereins ranked at No. 7 on American Banker’s 2012 list, and was named as the Electronic Transactions Association’s 2013 Distinguished Payments Professional back in May.
