Fitness App Provider Ranking the Picture of Healthy Competition

Fitness App Ranking Picture of Healthy Competition

Ready for bathing suit season? Not unless you’ve been keeping current with PYMNTS Provider Ranking of Fitness apps, where all the healthy (and aspiring healthy) people go.

We’ve got some changes, and that’s expected, especially as millions of people picture themselves in a swimsuit — after two years of living on tacos, pizza and ice cream.

It won’t be pretty unless you work it. We’ll do our bit by showing apps. You must do the workouts and perspiring. You’ll be glad you did (as will anyone who sees you in that swimsuit).

The Top 5

Still looking fit at No. 1, it’s the FitCoach app making sure we’re living healthy.

Thumbs up to Planet Fitness, which rises a spot to No. 2.

Give Sweatcoin Walking Step Counter a prize because it is up two chart positions to No. 3.

The MyFitnessPal app is OK at No. 4 and staying for another month.

Big deal at No. 5 is the Workouts By Muscle Booster app tumbles three spots from last month, but those extra reps helped it stay in the top 5, and that’s a weight off their minds surely.

The Top 10

Dropping down, we find Strava: Run, Ride, Swim sticking at No. 6.

Same for FitOn, not budging from No. 7.

One more non-mover is the Nike Training Club, also keeping its spot at No. 8 for another cycle.

Our only tied score is at No. 9 where Map My Run By Under Armour moves up one chart position to join Runkeeper, which was already so ranked.

We welcome back Workout For Women at No. 10, reentering the Provider Ranking of Fitness apps after an absence. Good to see you.

Now, let’s app up, warm up and go for a run.
